Some of the best relationships I have now came as a result of change, the loss of certain friends and the gain of others. Some of the best work situations have come as a result of certain work situations ending.

The great thing about change is that it applies to good situations and bad situations. So if there is something that you don't like about your life, whether at work or in your personal life, it is very consoling to remember that it will not last forever.

Change is the very nature of life. It is the harbinger of Spring as well as Autumn. It touches everything in the universe without discrimination or mercy. Without change, life would be impossible. If there was no change, we would all be frozen, just like statues.

For instance, when you look at an apple seed, you see a seed. However, in order for that seed to become an apple, the seed has to change. If there was no change, it would remain an apple seed and we would never have apples. Now, we can either lament the passing of the seed or we can welcome the arrival of the apple.

Thus, the best way to accept change is to welcome it as the evolution of the present moment. In the context of work and life, we can look at change as an opportunity. Not just as an opportunity to improve our situation, but as an opportunity to see the world as it is. Change is an opportunity to see the universe unfold before….....
