Affirmative Action is an organization of policies and designed procedures aimed at assisting in the elimination of discrimination against women and other minorities in the human society, together with redressing the possibilities of past discrimination. As required by the Affirmative Action Plan's requirements, Affirmative Action was signed by President Johnson in 1965. It supported and revised by different presidents in the world. The intention of Affirmative Action is to have less or no discriminations in the various fields of living among the minority groups and women in the society of the U.S. And other nations that subdue to it. Nonetheless, Affirmative Action has attracted both positive and negative effects on the human society.

The initial intention of Affirmative Action was to bring sanity in the human society where equality and cohesive continuation exists in the society. According to President John F. Kennedy, Affirmative Action is as good as a society that respects the ordeals and structures that build up this society (Spielberger, 2004). Originally, Affirmative Action was aimed at transforming schools and work places into centers of equity and fairness in all of its actions. The diversity of the American population was poised to live as one body representing the conformity to its rules and laws. Affirmative Action has affected the human living and interaction in some cases positively. Although many of the perceptions are targeted at reducing or eradicating Affirmative Action in the society, it still exemplifies positivity and cohesiveness in the human society.

The issue has positively influenced the economic status of most people and organizations in the world. For instance, Affirmative Action has enabled minority groups and women in the society to access jobs and hence, achieved their economic capabilities. More importantly, the action has led to the establishment of minority group representation that enables them influence their positivity and influence in the constitutional structures of the organizations and the country as a whole.….....
