In terms of the continuum of communications openness, all of the elements such as transmission, trust, agendas and goals all register to the right side which indicates complete and open communication (Helregel, & Slocum, 2007, 334). Between Mulally and those he leads, the transmission of communication is clear, there is complete trust and the agendas and goals are completely transparent. When such a situation exists, great problems can be overcome by a determined, capable group of individuals. Without a doubt, everyone is marching lockstep in the goal of resurrecting Ford's profitability. When perfectly united, the team concept provides the best model of business success and organization that Allan Mulally is using to such good effect currently at Ford Motor Company. Behind a good leader, ordinary people can accomplish seemingly superhuman tasks in ways they never thought possible before.
