Android Box Work?

Devices that offer TV streaming, access to popular website apps like Netflix, and Hulu through Ethernet or wireless connections already exist. Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, and Chrome Box are just some of the innovative breakthroughs launches in recent years that help users merge TV watching with the internet. Some older options like the PS4 and Xbox One and its predecessors, have also provided wireless access to both Netflix, but also even web browsing so users had the option of accessing social media platforms like Twitter and Youtube.

However, there have not been any products that combined the use of social media with internet TV and regular TV. The Android Box works by using a wireless or Ethernet connection to connect online. It has an app store access via Android Marketplace that will allow users to download apps like Twitter, Instagram, and a joystick enabled controller with keypad that will permit users to type and navigate with ease. There will be preinstalled apps as well of Netflix, Hulu, and streaming channel options like Sling TV in order to allow customers access to live streaming channels.

A small camera attachment can be purchased in addition to the Android Box and controller, that will allow users to upload their own videos and pictures to sites like Youtube and Snapchat. In order to save the memory, there will be a memory card slot on the Android Box so users may save their data on a purchased memory card. Users also have the option of buying a data plan that allows for 4G connectivity that can allow them to take their Android Box on the go. The Android Box can work both on a laptop and television.

In the end, the Android Box is a marriage of what is available on the smart phone, on gaming consoles, and on internet streaming sticks/devices. It will have the options needed for social media like memory card slots, Wireless, Ethernet, and Apps. It will also provide easy navigation.

2. Receiving WIFI

WIFI usually comes from a router or from access to a paid service that offers various WIFI hotspots around the area one lives in. There are ways to get free WIFI, but for the most part, WIFI has to be paid for monthly. That is why suppliers in Africa like Glo, Swift, and Airtel can offer data and WIFI plans that allow the use of 4G and WIFI for connectivity options. The Android Box will be able to connect with either option and can have customized plans created by partnering with these companies, that offer large data options or limitless data options for connectivity. The packages could come with wireless router and free installation of internet within the home. The next option is a 4G hotspot device for mobility with set data plans.

In the end, Android Box needs to work with internet suppliers in order to get the services it needs to provide internet to its customers. The internet is what fuels that use of the Android Box. Without the internet, there is no connectivity, and no available interaction. WIFI and 4G hotspots are key.

3. Data plans

Data plans need to start large because of the constant need for streaming. The options would start from 500 MB for budget users all the way to 5GB for those like to remain connected. Streaming TV channels, Netflix, social media, these can use up a lot of data. Therefore, data plans need to start big for WIFI/Ethernet plans and for 4G options begin at 100 MB per month with the biggest option at 500 MB. 4G is not as fast as WIFI and requires more in order to get a reliable and steady connection.

4. Social Media Apps

Social media apps will work thanks to the access to the Android Marketplace. The Android Marketplace provides easy navigation through a host of useful apps. The Android Box version of the Android Market place will only come with apps compatible with the Android Box. The Android Box will come with a special feature that will block apps that do not fit certain criteria. This is because apps within the marketplace are used for a variety of things that often require certain processes, attachments, or devices to work.

The Android Box Marketplace will feature social media apps tailored to users for the Android Box. For example, every user will have an Android Box profile where they can add their social media apps, add all their associated social media accounts, and dive into settings where they can post what they're listening to, what they are doing, and what they are watching.

The sold separately camera attachment can allow for customizable profile pictures and further social media interaction.

By having one main hub to access and remained signed in to all the social media accounts, users will have an easier time navigating and switching between apps. Users will also have access to newer apps like Dubsmash and screen capture their favorite videos with an app available in the Android Marketplace that captures 5-10 seconds of streaming video. All these options are meant to enrich the user experience and increase interactivity. These options all come from the innovative redesign of the Android Marketplace. This redesign allows easy use of compatible apps. It also enhances the social media experience.

5. Manufacturing an Android Box

Manufacturing the Android Box can prove a daunting task. However, looking back at its predecessors, it be done by taking a look at how Roku, Xbox One, and smartphones are made. Smartphones are made with key components. These components are screen, casing, battery and PCB or printed circuit board. After assembly, they have a testing phase to evaluate the various hardware and functions of the phone, and to test for quality. The materials used for the manufacturing process are for example hardened plastic (polycarbonate or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and a coating of flame-retardant chemicals. While the Android Box will not contain an LCD display, it will be coated with the flame-retarded chemical and have the hardened plastic as its main base to keep it lightweight. The Android Box will also remain compact just like the Rokus, Amazon Fire sticks/TV, and Chrome Boxes.

The Amazon Fire TVs are more complex than the sticks and offer possible solutions for the manufacturing process of Android Boxes. For example, the Amazon Fire TV is manufactured with a Type A HDMI 1.4b output with HDCP to allow for HD streaming. It comes with a 10/100 Ethernet ad a 5.5 mm DC Jack. It also included a USB 2.0 Type A for further connectivity options. The box also includes within the inside, a heat sink since devices like these need effective cooling. Other features that can be used in the Android Box are Atheros fast Ethernet controller, Pericom PCI-E clock, a digital audio transmitter, and a quad-core processor.

The Xbox One has features that make it viable as a means of creating social interaction for the user. Unlike Fire TV, it has USB 3.0 and similar to a laptop, has 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct. It also has a live streaming option thanks to Twitch. TV and HDMI input and output with 4K support. These are just some things to take into consideration when wishing to provide everything users would need for the Android Box.
