Good afternoon. I am writing to furnish you with the relevant cultural information regarding Argentina that could be pertinent in your forthcoming business trip. In basic terms, Argentina’s culture is much different from that of the United States - which effectively means that the successful operation of an enterprise in the country will call for proper understanding of the social behaviors as well as customs of the people of Argentina.

Argentina’s masculinity score on Hofstede’s 6 Dimensions of Cultures model is 56, which is reflective of “the presence of slightly more Masculine than Feminine elements” (Hofstede Insights, 2019). This effectively means that while you should not expect to face severe gender bias as a female executive, you might not be taken seriously in some settings owing to the fact that in addition to being a relatively young executive, women who hold very senior positions such as yours are rare in Argentina.
