The history of the Knights Templar is riddled with obscurity and doubt. While we know that they did exist, we must wonder what happened to such a powerful and prominent Order. Certainly, the Templar was at one time a well-respected and useful Order in Christendom. The one event that seemed to be liked to the demise if the fall of the Holy City. The result of this fall is two-pronged for it immediately rendered the Order less significant and it also proved their inability to uphold their mission.
