The societies that have exhibited mechanical solidarity, egotistic suicide is considered not to be considered the major cause of the death. It has been observed that in situation where individuals fail to find any purpose to live, and their 'unrestrained pursuit of individual interests' (Goodman, 1999), is likely develop sense of dissatisfaction can cause suicide. Depression and disillusionment are the major social currents which can compel the individual towards performing egoistic suicide. According to critics, 'the social currents of depression and disillusionment emanating from no particular individual but expressing society's state of disillusionment has the potential to make that individual the victim of suicide' (Durkheim, 1938). Altruistic suicide is considered to be a form of suicide which is practiced when the social integration is extremely high, and the 'the collective consciousness is too strong' (Durkheim, 1938), such situation compel the individual to commit the suicide, the 'followers of Jim Jones of the People's Temple or the members of the Solar Temple are considered to be an example of altruistic suicide' (Durkheim, 1938). In some of the cases lawlessness is also responsible for the increase in suicide i.e. regarded as Anomic Suicide. Low degree of regulation and external limitations of the public is responsible for such cases. Such practices are common where people are victim of economic depression or over-rapid economic expansion. Situations when the regulation are severe, it is expected that the individual 'with futures pitilessly blocked and passions violently choked by oppressive discipline' (Cuff, 1992), may fall victim of suicide as well. In cases when the individual finds no possible way out for the improvement of their lives.

It has been researched, 'higher self-reported levels of physical and psychiatric morbidity in women but lower mortality to socio-cultural factors associated with gender roles' (Cuff, 1992), the mental disorder ness by differential severity among particular gender has created impact on the suicide cases......
