They desire to have an environment that supports their ambitions, but the question of the best ways to reward them remains an area of controversy. Specifically, the health care system makes it challenging for them. For instance, if they are paid by the number of patients they serve or tests, this can make them feel that they are being compelled to see patients faster.
Suppose the billing is fixed to see patients throughout a specific phase of care. Also, suppose they were paid more based on how their patients are healthier. In that case, they can offer better services by making follow-ups using emails and phone calls. Such an environment encourages the health workers to focus on the patients\' health.
