Bucket List

Life is ephemeral in nature. In life, occurrences, situations, and circumstances are constantly changing. It is through these changing circumstances that opportunities arise. These opportunities provide life with excitement and wonder. To better enjoy life, a plan of activities is often needed to ensure that an individual doesn't become entrapped by the natural progressions of life. Negative aspects such as complacency, boredom, or animosity towards others can quickly turn life into a struggle. To avoid and alleviate many of these pitfalls, the creation of a personal bucket list is helpful. My list for instance, includes many aspects in which I am personally passionate about. This list, although incomplete, will provide ample excitement and reprieve from the daily rigors of life. Below are my bucket list and the reasoning behind each activity.

Travel to all seven continents volunteer / help out and make a difference.

The world is a diverse place. As such, it is my desire to experience this diversity throughout the course of my life. I have a personal desire to travel to each of the seven continents in the world to experience, first hand the diversity of that these areas have to offer. It is also very important in my personal development to become acquainted with varying lifestyles and circumstances. Life long learning is a passion of mine. Therefore, through travel and experience, I hope to learn more about other people and the different circumstances in which they live on a daily basis. Furthermore, if circumstances warrant, I would like to volunteer to help a cause within each of the respective continents. Each part of the world has a particular problem in which they are attempting to solve. In America, inequality and immigration reform are in the forefront of societal issues. In China, economic growth and a higher quality of life for all individuals within the nation is of high priority. Each country therefore has a need. It is my belief that I should help contribute to a solution within each continent that I am particularly passionate about. In this manner, I can contribute to the future prosperity of the world.

Play a round of golf at Augusta National Golf Course where the masters are held.

Sporting events are a very integral aspect of my life. I enjoy watching the drama unfold within sporting events.

I often follow my favorite player's statistics and routines. I believe much can be learned from successful sports athletes. Aspects such as discipline, courage, and perseverance are all important characteristics to posses. One of my favorite athletes is that of Tiger Woods. I admire his overall perseverance and persistence in regards to sporting events. As such, I would enjoy playing a round on the same course in which he personally won the masters. The Augusta National Golf Course is also a very prestigious place in which exclusivity creates an aura of esteem. I want to participate on this course to experience this aura first hand.

Ski in the Alps.

As mentioned earlier, sports are a large part of my personal life. I enjoy watching all forms of sports. Another sport, outside of golf, that I find particularly interesting, is that of extreme sports. Aspects such as motocross, snowboarding, trick competitions, and slalom, are all very engaging. Although very dangerous, I would enjoy skiing in the Alps. I believe skiing to be very exciting as individual's race down the side of a mountain. This activity would be particularly fun when doing it with friends and family members. I think the company of love ones, particular with this activity, would provide enormous benefit and humor. Falls, missteps, awkward movements, and fear would all be shared among the group. This, I believe would make for great conversation and fun for years to come.

Drive an F1 car.

Continuing the sports trend of the previous two topics, I would also enjoy driving an F1 car. I enjoy fast cars and in particular sports cars. Events such as Nascar's Daytona 500 are very interesting to me. I enjoy the fast paced nature and thrill of racing. Nascar in particular is exciting due to the sheer amount of skill needed to drive vehicles of that caliber. Formula is somewhat more exciting due to the nature of the courses in which they drive. Nascar traditionally is done one large oval tracks….....
