The importance of creativity in improving the workplace performance is not as many people believe to be a novel idea. Allowing employees to be creative in their problem solving has been shown to improve employees' problem solving abilities and increase their productivity. The question that organizations should ask is what the importance of creativity to its business is and will creativity improve its competitiveness in the market. The answer to these questions will allow the organization to see the benefits it can reap by allowing its employees to be creative in the workplace.

Fostering the culture of creativity in the workplace will allow the organization to increase its employee's creative energy. This will lead to more practical employees, and this provides the organization with stability. The stability will not only be at the workplace, but also in the market place. With a corporate culture of creativity, an organization is able to develop creative characteristics among its employees since employees tend to take up the organization's culture.
