Internet Advertising and New Web Site - it's essential that an entirely new website stressing the values of authenticity, unpretentiousness and "clothes for hanging out with my friends" message pervade the online advertising, website, and e-mail blasts that describe the new clothes and create excitement about the new direction.


Direct Response Strategies - This includes creating a series of up sell and cross-sell promotional campaigns based on previous customer purchases; better use of existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and analytics applications to find the highest value customers and target them with direct mail and e-mail blasts; and also the development of a frequent buyer program to further increase in-store traffic, a major shortcoming today as price-only shoppers flock to the stores.

National Television - to launch the new brand and align with the musical artists that best exemplify the new brand, Old Navy will need to invest in television advertising to increase awareness of the new brands' value and increase store traffic.
