The capacity of interpreting and using information to create scenarios and, even more important, access to all the latest information in the financial sector (currency exchange rates, declarations by key players on the different markets, announcements made by world leaders etc.) is an important benefit of the job. Imagine that instead of having to go out on the market and obtain relevant information, you find it all on your computer, at a touch, and the only thing you need to do is filter through it, pick out the important things and be able to interpret these correctly.

Further more, despite the fact that there is an incredible responsibility, one of the great advantages is that this responsibility can be interpretable. You make analysis, not decisions and, from this perspective, the responsibility refers only to the correct interpretation of the data and information that has been provided rather than to making and implementing the right decisions. A lower level of responsibility is also one of the benefits of this job, it makes you feel more comfortable with your working activity.

Finally, one of the important benefits is the numerous possibilities of moving into the labor market from this position. The position as a financial analyst is not something restrictive that allows you to operate only in the respective field.
The fact that I can collect, analyze and interpret information means that I can also work as an analyst on any other market besides the financial one. This means that I have a great flexibility and that I am able to move into any industry where analysis of external environment factors plays a role in the decision making process.

Even more, I can move into a less analytical and more action-based financial position, like that of a trader on the stock exchange or the currency market. This means that I will not only interpret the reactions and feedback from the market, but that I will also be acting upon the information that I analyze, thus covering the entire informational chain.

I can also move into full decision making positions, because one of the important factors in the decision making process is the necessity to base the decisions on properly analyzed information. This means that management positions are not out of reach for me and that I can one day hope to run a company in any industry.
