I knew I did a lot of wrong in my life and had lied to my family and loved ones, but I did not think it merited being abandoned in a strange town.

As I progressed through the school I lightened up a little bit and stopped being so negative about things. I started to realize that although I hated this, I was behaving in a more responsible way and adhering to the rules set by the school. I was not lying to as many people as I had been in the past and just felt like a better person in general. When I look back on the time I spent in that I school I realize that it made me the person I am today. I knew I was getting into trouble as a teenager, but did not know how serious it was and the repercussions it would have on my adult life. I am grateful to my parents for helping me with my life in this situation.
