How Confucianism Impacted China
As Hu Shih point outs, "the Chinese people are the least religious among the civilized races...Chinese philosophy has been most free from the domination of religious influences" (Chou 81). This statement reflects the status of Confucianism in China most accurately. Religions such as those that developed in the West stemmed from belief in divine revelation.
