Multitenancy Architecture and Integration Architecture

Compare-Contrast Essay

Multitenancy and integration are both important concepts when considering cloud computing in the contemporary society. Depending on their position and their interests, individuals can use either one of these concepts with the purpose of improving their cloud experience. Cloud computing in general is recognized for having changed the way that users and programs interact, making it possible for individuals from all around the world to have access to programs that were traditionally associated with much larger enterprises.

Multitenancy is one of the first ideas that a user comes across when dealing with cloud computing. People using this concept in cloud computing practically cooperate in making it possible for the program to exist in the first place. They bring their resources together similar to how individuals living in a building collaborate with the purpose of making building-related processes less expensive. This makes it possible for people to have access to resources they would not have if they were to use the program individually. Even with the fact that they share the program, people have personalized experiences, with cloud companies concentrating on providing each user with the resources he or she needs in order to address his or her personal interests.
Most users are unlikely to have a complex understanding of the multitenancy system, taking into account that it functions very efficiently and thus makes people feel that their job is simply to take advantage of its benefits.

In many cases particular users can be provided with more or less functions as a consequence of their involvement in the program. For example, users investing more resources can be provided with more support in integrating the program into their companies' databases. In other cases, some users might only be interested in using some of the program's functions and thus consider that it would be pointless for them to pay for the complete experience.

An integration architecture can entail a much more complex process in comparison to a multitenancy architecture. In this situation, the company providing the program is likely to want to gain a more complex understanding of the company using it. In order for this to happen, the provider can require a great deal of information from the user, as this makes it….....
