He won numerous awards and honors. But the question remains: do we need a military chief as a President or do we need a true statesman. Seeing the havoc wrecked by the military in last few decades around the world, my answer would be in favor of the latter option. We need a President who understands the significance of what's happening in the world around him and who is willing to make necessary adjustments to stay at peace with rest of the world.
