This was unlike my expectation. More or less, I had to hold on because I knew this chance was for my own good and increase in my academic credit was pegged on this.

Rather than whine about the situation, I decided to exercise patience and use the situation to my advantage by doing beyond what was expected of me. Just as I expected, my efforts did not go unnoticed as I was then trusted with greater duties.

Even though I had a weakness of not being a very social person, I learnt that I could work under intense pressure and with set targets ad timelines, that I am a good time manager, a quick learner. What stands out most was that team work is most important and that one should constructively accept criticism.
