Summary

Having a good idea of one's own communication style alerts a person to possible biases -- it can be difficult for a supportive to understand someone who only focuses on facts, or a colleague who is willing to override feelings for the sake of a power play at work. But although perfect understanding and harmony between different styles is neither possible nor necessarily desirable, awareness of one's own style can make one aware of points of possible connection in communications styles as well as in the specifics of a workplace project.
