On the other hand, the language used in writing the book is appropriate and easy to understand for most readers. While it explains the events that took place through the author's experiences, it also outlines the challenges the people of America faced during the war such as racism, gender equality and social class. In addition to this, it provides suitable solutions for the problems they had through the author's expectations. This is through the values he acquired throughout his experiences in the book. The book tries to leave a mark with many readers, meaning readers can relate to the author's experiences at any time. Just like in the old days, such elements still affect people because the community has not learnt to embrace change.
Throughout the entire book, the author tries to seek an answer as to how he can reconcile people of different races and social standards to living and communicating as one. This does not seem like an easy task but according to the author, people can decide to move on and develop new history about their present experiences, which can present ways of reconciliation.
