This because, various corporate interests will often engage in unethical behavior through the actions that executives are taking with regards to: the law and the politicians they are supporting. As a result, the U.S. has to address the interconnected relationship of these two entities (which is leading to increased amounts corporate and political corruption). In the case of Somalia and Myanmar, the U.S. has far less corruption. This is due to the fact that in both countries bribes and kickbacks are often a part of daily life. In the case of the United States, this is not a major issue that most people will have to deal with on regular basis. This is important, because it highlights how the overall amounts of corruption in both countries are more extreme (with this occurring at levels of society and government). Clearly, corruption is major challenge that is affecting numerous countries around the globe. In the case of Denmark and New Zealand, they are the least corrupt. This is because they have various regulations that are in place and their culture does not permit these kinds of activities on a regular basis.

However, both countries are wrestling with political corruption. Where, various special interests could have undue amounts of influence over campaigns and government projects. This is important, because it shows that the culture and traditions prevent unethical behavior, because they are focused on the individual. In the case of Somalia and Myanmar, their culture and political system or lack of, allows corruption to occur at every level in society. Where, all levels of government and corporate interests will seek added benefits to conduct normal activities. This is significant, because it shows how corruption has become so engrained in these societies that it has become a part of everyday life. As a result, a comparison of the different countries reveals that corruption will occur in many areas, based upon the fact that it has become engrained in everyday life and the political system. Those countries that are the least corrupt have more of a tradition of tackling these problems (reducing the overall amounts). Therefore, corruption will depend upon how deep it has engrained in the country and the political will to tackle the problem......
