I knew very little about Thomson Reuters after reading your post, but it sounds as though the organization primarily manifests its ethical values by encouraging its employees to give back to the community, and also by mentoring younger individuals within the organization. These can be very helpful in establishing ties between an organization and the wider community, and is also keeping with the organization’s purpose, which is to provide information-based projects. It is important to see employees give back in a hands-on fashion, as well as for an organization simply to donate funds to charity, and it is also vital that the organization aligns its charitable values with the ways in which it behaves towards its own employees.
