Product placement is considered to be able to influence customers. This is because they associate themselves with the characters in the movies they like, and that use the products placed by these companies (Business Dictionary, 2012). Therefore, they are more likely to purchase the products that the characters they like use. However, this is an expensive technique that large companies can afford.
