Rules for making decisions

The proposal on global issues will be submitted by 15th of the next month and it will contain a title, contain a 500 words explanation of why the issues should be taken up for discussion by the members, and have at least five sub-questions and sources. For an issue to be taken up for discussion it will have at least 10% of the members vote. Only two issues will be brought up for discussion in a year at the annual meeting. Any affiliation will be permitted by the committee; the chapters will be analyzed by the event committee and then submitted to the speaker, who will then submit them to the managing director for approval. The chapters will only be discussed if they at least have 7 members presenting them and thereafter they will submit the document to the committee to be verified.

Discussion of at least one major issue facing students today and possible solutions to this problem.

The breakdown of families today has been considered as one of the pressing issue affecting students.
There are many reasons contributing to families breaking down, including long working hours such that parents no longer have time for their children, separation, high divorce rates, etc. 'Many students are being forced to deal with pain and uncertainty caused by their parent's decision to separate or divorce. (Sacks, 2007) The breakdown in family life and in society's value mean that the teachers are often having to take up the role of instilling discipline where parents are supposed to take up the responsibility. Teachers too are loosing the battle to maintain discipline in schools because of breakdown in family relationships.

The possible solution to this problem is to restore healthy marriages; people in healthy marriages are happier, healthier and they live longer. Parents and organizations should also come up with strategies that will parents balance work and family life, and in so doing provide parents with time when they can spend with their families. The balancing of old and new should be what the family should try and achieve by modernizing yet rediscovering traditional values. (Sacks,.....
