This means that companies are at risk for having to understand and follow many laws from many nations on the off chance that one customer is from that nation. The FTC recommends the format be changed and that an international dispute site be established with all nations agreeing to fall under its jurisdiction when it comes to online businesses and disputes. This would standardize the e-business and provide a place for consumers and merchants to come together and resolve issues. Until this is allowed to happen however, companies would be wise to promote their policy of dispute resolution on their site so that consumers are aware of the steps they need to take if they have a concern or dispute......
