Next, all students must have easy access and the ability to easily interact with their professors. These are important, because in order for the university to have a successful e-learning program requires that all students can be able to easily access the various classes and programs that are being offered. This means that the overall amounts of available storage must always be increasing, to ensure that everyone can be able to quickly download any kind of learning tools and study guides. Then, the students must be able to easily interact with their professors, both during class and outside of class. This can be achieved through having various chatting sessions scheduled at particular times. It can also be used to ask questions that may have been difficult to ask in the traditional learning environment. (Homes, 2006)

Course Description: The purpose of this e-learning course is for students to have another option for receiving a higher education. Where, they will learn the same relevant course material that is covered in the traditional courses. There will be more of an emphasis placed on using numerous tools to provide repeated exposure to the different concepts presented.

Learning Outcomes

The overall learning objectives are: to be able to receive more in depths amounts of instruction. This will be accomplished by having the class meet regularly at least three times a week online.

There will also be two mandatory recitation sessions, that will be covered once a week via the various the online classrooms.

Instructional Methods

The instructional methods will involve the use of a number of different tools to achieve the highest amounts of learning comprehension to include: the use of various streaming videos / blackboards / instant messaging. This will provide a more one on one, student to professor experience. Throughout the course and recitation sessions, these different ideas will be presented in a way that will utilize the above mentioned tools.

All students are responsible for their own learning material and concepts covered in the course. Attendance is optional; however it is highly recommended that all students attend the class and recitation sessions. There will be ideas covered in both that will not be discussed with the various learning tools. Clearly, an e-learning solution can be successfully implemented in the world of higher education. However, in order to successfully implement such a program requires that a number of different factors must be considered when implementing such a protocol to include: being realistic with how technology will be used, prepare for initial increases in budget expenditures, make the system user friendly and set various e-learning objectives. These different elements are important, because for the university to be able to adapt to the changes that are occurring, requires a long-term commitment to improving the overall quality of learning. One way to do this is to aggressively offer all of the different classes in an e-learning environment. Over the course of time, this will allow the university to keep up with increases in student enrollment and offer students more options for attending class. Together these two elements will allow for the highest quality of education to be delivered, as such a system will offer flexibility to all students and faculty needs......
