Investigating Factors Affecting the Strength of an Electromagnetic FieldCertain factors affect the strength of an electromagnetic field, including the coil density, the wire length, strength of the electric current, and even the metal wire and its type. This paper aims at investigating the effect of one of these factors on the entire strength of an electromagnetic field. The data would be recorded in table form, so that interpretation of the results becomes convenient. Also, the reliability and validity of the hypothesis and the selected method would be gauged for authentication of the strategy.Planning the InvestigationThe changes in the electromagnetic field would be explored by changing the coil density in the simulation. For this purpose, the following criteria are set for looking thoroughly into the changes.Research questionWhat is the effect of changes in coil density (independent variable) on the electromagnetic field (dependent variable) with the varying degree (5 to 15) and units in the simulation?HypothesisIt is hypothesized that changes in coil density would bring changes in the electromagnetic field. However, it still has to be tested whether the change would be an increment or a reduction in the electromagnetic field.Scientific reasoningThe magnetic field’s strength is determined by the coil’s ampere-turns, increasing its force to let the electric magnetic current pass through it. The per unit length, the force of the current, and the dense formation of the coil signify the power of the field as the conduction of the current becomes convenient. If the wire density is increased, then the greater the area of the wire through which the conduction of electromagnetic field could pass easily because the power is amplified and the ease of passing electromagnetic is ensured. Hence, the magnetic field is enlarged as well.Independent variableThe independent variable (IV) is the coil density that would be changed distinctly, and its effect on the electromagnetic field would be tested.

Again, ten different settings or manipulations would be checked for this purpose. The settings would range from 5 to 15 units. The unit of measurement for coil density is millimeter (Just a supposition, you can change it according to your liking).Dependent variableThe dependent variable (DV) is the electromagnetic field which is measured in Tesla.Controlled variableThe one variable controlled in the simulation is current, set at 1 ampere only throughout the testing and its respective settings.Data collectionThe data would be collected in tabular form after changing the ranges of the coil density and detecting the electromagnetic field change. The data would also be presented in graphical form for further clarification of the changes in the simulation. The number of trials would be three as the range from 5 to 15 would change the coil density.Collection of DataCollecting and presenting dataThe data is shown in both graphical and tabular forms below, so interpretation of results becomes easier. Further, the number of trials at each level of the independent variable was three; therefore, it is mandatory to mention that the change in the magnetic field remained consistent at each trial and each change of the coil density. For instance, it was tested thrice at a coil density of 5; the magnetic field remained 0.0000628 Tesla each time.Table 1: Table Generated from the Observations of the SimulationCoil DensityMagnetic Field Around The Coil (Tesla)Graph 1: Graph….....
