The authors of the article are trying to say that senior executives must increase their interest in developing an effective communications plan (Gray & Robertson, 2005). The writers advise managers to become more visible to their subordinates, to inform them about the directions that the company is intended to follow, and to consult their subordinates about strategic changes within the company. Therefore, Cassidy should focus on developing an effective communications plan with the company's managers and to encourage them in improving communication with their subordinates by involving them in the decision making process.
