Meeting Community Needs

Language and Speech skills are vital to academic learning and success. Language is the foundation of communication. Reading, writing, gesturing, listening, and speaking is all methods of language. Learning takes place through the process of communication. The aptitude to communicate with peers and grown-ups in the educational setting is vital for a student to prosper in school. Who are the people most affected by this problem?

The students are the ones hardest hit by this issue, especially in the classroom. A lot of times, students will routinely look to the teacher for correct answers rather than trying to find out what is going on for themselves. Sometimes this can be a problem among the student and the teacher. However, if the teacher assists them with the answer every single time, it can turn out to be a detrimental issue. In its place, emphasize on giving encouragement that is positive. With that said, it has been a problem because a lot of teachers do not take the time out to even do any of this. The problem gets out of hand when the student feels like they are not getting respected. This will take place, no matter what, in almost every classroom in the second-grade hall. If the whole class is not behaving, it may be the responsibility of the educator, i.e. poor classroom management or boring material.

How can people affected by this problem get involved?

Most of the time, the entire school is involved with this issue because it affects everyone.
For example, school leaders are in a single position to produce a culture of achievement inside their school community. When it comes to their students, an important feature of ELL achievement is the engagement of family. Even though some might be privileged to have an energetic and fervent ELL educator or bilingual relationship who has worked effectively with families of ELL in the previous years, this is not the job of a single individual. Involving ELL families can merely work if all followers of the community (as well as students, parents, staff, and administrators) are devoted to the wider task. How does technology play a role in this?

A lot of times, teachers use technology in the classroom as a way of communicating to the students. The problem with the technology was that it just took over the class. In some cases, but not all, it widening the gap between student and teacher.
