Cloning

Closing has become one of the most talked about ethical problems in the world today. The ability that scientists have to clone humans goes against many religious and ethical standards. This has created an ethical clash between medical science and many churches and religions.

Stem cell research

This is a part of the cloning debate. It has been the cause of much ethical discussion in that it involves research which promises to cure many serious diseases. This has become and ethical dilemma because many people see this as treating human beings as just another product which can be bought and sold.

Gay Marriage

The issue of Gay marriage is based on the belief in equal human rights for all, no matter what their sexual preferences. However homosexuality goes against many religious teachings and ethical principles. It has therefore created an ethical battle between those who believe in equal rights and those who are against homosexuality on religious and other grounds.

The debate about abortion has raged in many countries. On the one hand many people feel that women should have the right to decide whether to keep their child or not. On the other hand there are many who believe that abortion is the same as murder.
