Exit Interview Report

I am leaving my present position mainly because I want to pursue my Master's Degree full time, but also because I feel I have been treated unfairly by my supervisor. Although I have really enjoyed working with our customers and meeting new people each day, and although our company offered employees good benefits, I have been very disappointed with the way I have been treated. I can offer several examples of situations in which I have been treated poorly. For example, after I had surgery, my supervisor asked that I come into work the following day even though a doctor wrote a note requesting that I stay home and rest. The same supervisor has made derogatory comments about my work and my competence, in spite of the fact that I have always performed my job well. As if he prejudged me before I walked in the door, the supervisor has underestimated my capabilities continuously.
