Chipotle Porter's Five Forces Analysis

Chipotle is a group of restaurants specialized in the production of tacos and mission burritos in the U.S., Germany, the UK, France, and Canada. The name of the company is derived from Chipotle the Nahuatl referring to smoked and dried chili pepper Jalapeno. The mission statement of Chipotle as one of its strengths relates to food with integrity. The mission statement helps to bring out the efforts at Chipotle to emphasize its manufacture of food using the natural ingredients. The services offered by Chipotle have naturally raised meat among other food materials. Chipotle stands as one of the first chains of fast casual dining food establishments in the locations stated (Wylie et al. 47).

Threats of New Entrants

Chipotle has already established itself in the market and has established an equitable market base. A lot still needs to be done and the company knows that it has this option of making expansions to the services being offered as at now. Nonetheless, this does not mean that there is no possibility of any other brand taking the market by a strong move. As a result, there is a moderate availability and hence a moderate capability of an entry of another brand that would offer competition to this brand (Paiz et al. 74). There is a possibility of anything opening up and causing a major change in the presence and operations of Chipotle.
