FairyTale

Long ago and far away there lived a girl named Victoria. She and her poor parents lived in a cottage, in a beautiful valley. Close to them there was an enchanted forest. The girl would wake up early in the morning and go into the forest to fetch the wood for the fire. She would gather mushrooms and pick flowers and sing, both because she loved to sing but also because she was afraid of those woods. She had heard of the mean ogres who lived deep in the forest and she hoped she would never have to face them.

One day, her mother gave her a bag with some beautiful fabric she had woven from the finest wool thread she could find to bring to the king and queen who were living at the castle, on the other side of the forest. She knew she would have to cross the forest to get to the castle, but she gathered all her courage and started singing louder than ever while advancing through the thick ancient woods. The crystal clear sky slowly disappeared hidden from view by the high trees. Squirrels, rabbits, foxes and all sorts of innocent creatures living in the forest were crossing paths with the little girl. As she was hoping along the path, thinking about the beautiful deep dark eyes of the boy who groomed the horses at the royal stables, Victoria suddenly realized that the small creatures had disappeared, the birds stopped singing and the wind had started to blow much harder than usual.

They took her to their den, where no man had ever been before and threw her on a pile of straw. They left her there and leaved to fetch wood to make a big fire. They were happy thinking about the feast that night: a beautiful, innocent young girl, ready to be served. She was terrified, but she knew her friend, the little white pony at the royal stables would notice her absence. He was more than just a pony, he had magic powers that allowed him to talk and he had wings he only showed those who proved worthy of his trust. He had a beautiful golden mane where his power was hidden. His name was Messy Hair.

Messy Hair started to worry about the little girl's absence and started to grow restless. He suddenly realized there was something wrong, spread his wings and flew over the forest. He saw the….....
