The author of this brief report has been asked to offer a review of a video that is currently present on the YouTube collection of videos. Rather than providing a simple “shot by shot” review or any other sort of basic review, the author will instead use proper terms, ideas and concepts to get a fuller picture of what the video is trying to accomplish and what methods are being used to accomplish the same in terms of its structure and methodology. There are a number of important factors that will be considered include actual intent, clear intent and what is truly going on within a scene including its narrative, its themes and so forth. While it is possible to read too much into a given scene or the points it is trying to make, there are other times where that is the precise thing that is to be done.

Analysis

The onset of the video clip in question is a rather interesting one. It is a video or movie of people watching a video or movie, with the audience being in a grand theater. One thing that stands out right away is that the movie being watched is in black and white whereas the scene in the theater is in color. While this may have been more of a historical summary of what the norms were at that time, it is something that immediately catches the eye in a modern context. Something else that immediately comes to the eye is the fact that the people in the theater are very well-dressed and ready to impress, something that is not commonly done in modern theaters.
Even so, it is not something that is entirely devoid from the paradigm. Just one example would be when people go to movie award shows. That is obviously a different thing in terms of why the people are there. However, the fact that people are watching films and are dressed very well is something that is obviously present when it comes to the Oscars and other such award shows.

Anyhow, the first dialog that is seen in the video clip clearly emanates from some of the people that are depicted in the audience. Another thing to note is that the scenes being depicted are not contiguous. The people involved seem to be the same actor and actress. However, there is first the scene where they are laying together and then there is another scene where they appear to be in a drama/powdered wigs situation and the culmination of the movie is seen. There is then a cut to a scene whereby the people of the film are supposedly there in person and are being congratulated. There is an immediate situation depicted where there is fighting over the money. The female star of the film is obviously making a power play. Concurrent to that, the males (and the female in the pink dress) is rather taken off guard to what the new woman that is supposedly “running things” is actually doing. This all comes to a head, of course, when that same woman continues her pattern of going on for herself by making her own speech.
