Among the web development tools that can create state-of-the-art web sites is the Macromedia's Flash. In terms of design, functionalities, interactivity, and visual attributes, there is no doubt that Flash is a success. According to Mario Sanchez, from his article Flash Web Design: Pros and Cons,

Flash is a powerful web technology that achieves a high level of visual impact from the graphical point-of-view.

But, up to which extent does Flash Media make an efficient web site? Is it advisable to use an All-Flash web sites?

Pros and Cons of Flash Web Sites

The advantages of Flash can be considered to be very visible to anyone accessing the web. When one says Flash, the immediate perception is a good visual effect that it can bring to the web surfer.

Flash is a very effective tool for making an interesting and effective web presentation to clients and customers.

According to Web Design Schools,

Flash Source Scripts cannot be stolen unlike Java Scripts or HTML code. Flash files come in "two" pieces: files with .fla extension are the actual source and .swf files are compiled version of these files. In browsers you can see only .swf files.

The disadvantages of Flash, however, cannot be instantly seen because they are only apparent upon opening the Flash….....
