By requiring prior academic experience and practical contact with the nursing environment, the program prepares its students for a career in which professionalism and knowledge are some of the basic conditions, especially taking into account the fact that nursing means constant contact with people in need. From this perspective, I consider this phase in my academic education to be an essential step in trying to reach a higher degree of professional knowledge which I would use in my future career and in my attempt to help those in need for assistance.

Pursuing an academic education requires sacrifices and in many occasions demands refusing yourself some pleasures life have to offer, especially as a young individual. However, I am aware that one must have clearly in his mind his priorities and chose, without second thoughts, the future of his life. This is why I intend to follow on my academic education by getting a Master in Nursing, after graduating from University. Although the choice is hard to make, a Master's degree in Nursing would offer me the possibility to specialize in a certain area of activity.
