It is becoming hard to disconnect names, dates, and places from the hemoglobin and RNA. Science appreciates access to DNA because it can link certain traits with others and thereby advance scientific knowledge.

Although it is important to protect a person's privacy regarding DNA, it is too difficult to do so given the rampant greed in the biomedical industry and the collusion of government in protecting that industry.
