The concept of globalization can be seen in many different ways ranging from the spread of democratic societies throughout the world right down to the film industry. The example I chose to illustrate globalization is the spread of the film industry to India and what has become known as "Bollywood." For years people in India were infatuated with American films. Slowly the Indian film industry took many ideas from Hollywood, and made them in to their own until they began a full-fledged film industry.
