Hard Work Is Critical in a Cooking Career

If I had to choose one value that governs my life I would choose the value of hard work. My parents raised me to believe that one will be rewarded in many ways for the effort of hard work and it is something that I apply to everything I do. Hard work is a very simple value to perform. It simply means that I try my best in everything I do. If a job needs to be handled I take care of it. While others may wait to see if someone else does it. Or believe it is not their task to perform, I will just get it done and move on to the next task. Hard work is something that has helped me in many aspects of my life including school.

I believe that this value, which is important to me, will be a valuable asset in the kitchen as well. If I build a reputation for myself to be a hard worker in the kitchen it is going to help me build positive relationships with those that I work with. The team will be able to count on me to get the job done and not try and get out of working.
