If the insurance carriers cooperate, there is every reason to believe that greater progress can be made in the treatment of heroin addiction. It would allow the patient the opportunity to pursue the treatment modalities that would help the patient learn to transition from an addiction behavior pattern, to a behavior pattern that excludes the addiction behavior pattern.
