This is mainly because of several key elements which portray Huston as a friendly and safe city over other locations which prove less appealing to homeowners and other residents.

In terms of the increase of the Latino population, this is a trend which has been occurring elsewhere in the nation for the past few generations. In 1990, the largest immigrant wave was recorded entering into U.S. soil. It was with this new and modern wave of immigrants that we see the new conception of the Latino immigrant within modern American culture. In fact, in the last decade of the twentieth century, the Latino population within the United States as a whole grew by almost 58%. That is a huge increase within the short span of only ten years. And so, it can be assumed that the large increase of Hispanic and Latino immigrants into the Huston are has also been experienced elsewhere in the nation. Other major metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles and New York have also experienced increasingly high levels of Hispanic and Latino immigrants migrating to the jobs and residences such large cities have to offer.

Based on current trends which further empower the Hispanic population within the Huston area, many are excited for its future developments and progressions.
It is truly a modern era, one which brings hope to protecting the interests of all Huston citizens. A larger demographic means a more powerful one. It also means better representation for the individuals and families within that demographic and their interests. This is what gives the future of Huston a promising sense which can then help to further alleviate the racial divides seen not only in the South, but in all other areas of the nation as well. 2009 opened up with a historical moment -- the inauguration of a black president. This brings hope to areas like Huston, which is filled with large populations of minority demographics. The diversification of the government itself is coupled with the further diversification of areas such as Huston. It provides hope that one day, all of our interests will be protected, not only the elite few who once harbored complete control. Yet, it is up to those individuals who make up the Hispanic demographic in Huston to take matters into their own hands. The Hispanic community must continue to mobilize itself as a way to increase its political clout and power within larger Huston and Texas politics. Yet, with such large increases in population, it is evident that the face of Huston will continue.....
