What questions would you ask to understand the human factors involved in the new project?

Before embarking upon the meeting, questions such as the roles and responsibilities of the different parties; the expectations of both sides; and above all the work habits and cultural differences of the involved individuals involved in the project must be answered. An overview of the project deliverables, deadlines, and specific competencies of the team is required to gain an understanding of what precisely will be demanded over the course of the venture. Ideally, all team members should have an idea of the specifics of their contribution to the project and also an overall vision of what the collective effort will produce.

Since a joint effort will be required between both British and American components of the project, the methods of communication between the different national branches must be established: email, virtual conferences, and phone meetings must be regularly exchanged. Frequency and methods of contact between members of the team and other teams involved in the project should be formalized.
