The Encyclopedias were organized well with everything labeled properly. Although some of the books were in decent condition such as the Directories or the Dictionaries, the encyclopedias seemed to be in good condition. I asked one of the librarians who works there to see if any of them have been updated within the last 6 months or any new books have been put into the reference section within the last 6 months and she replied no. She also stated the newest book received was from 2013 and it was a World Book Encyclopedia. Some were bizarre like the Aromatherapy Encyclopedia, while others were of normal topics. All the books reviewed here are useful and offer information difficult to find elsewhere.

The Aromatherapy Encyclopedia: A Concise Guide to over 395 Plant Oils. Schiller, Carol (Book -- 2012) was a very interesting book to browese through. Some of the information about lavender and mint was quite useful. An example being that mint can manage stress levels and also cure sunburn. This is a great aromatherapy book. It offers a wide array of information on plant oils such as: how to prepare oils, why they are used, and what ailments they can help relieve.

Homosexuality and Religion An Encyclopedia (Book -- 2007) this book describes different religious beliefs and reactions to the existence of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons in various religious traditions. It is an excellent source of knowledge about the hot-button debate. From the discussion over legality of gay marriage to the controverisla place of gays and lesbians within faith communities, religious leaders and lay members have to identify within themselves which side to pick in this heated debate. This book was in great condition even though it has been the library for several yeara. It quite honestly the most comprehensive volume to date on the intersections between religion and homosexuality. Extremely useful if one had to do a ressearch paper on this topic.

Gender and Education An Encyclopedia (Book -- 2007) this book was also in good condition with its topic and execution of information expressed to be very concise and up-to-date for its publication date. I tried to look for another edition but this is the most current one I found. It is a two volume set about intersection of gender and education. The entries consist of educational theories, research, curricula, practices, personnel, and policies, but differentiations in the gendering of education throughout historical.....
