The integration of human services is completely critical to the efforts of the state of Kansas in its ongoing attempts to integrate services for elderly people needing long-term care. Especially in out of office, out patient care settings and in community outreach types of situations and events. This also includes the provision that the contractors for these programs that are outsourced are well managed and that area accountable to the state. This accountability and oversight as well as the more efficient and sensible integration of Kansas state human services produces the results that necessary for more efficient and yet better social services.
