Job Outing

This research was done to identify any relationship to job satisfaction and a recent company outing to Camp Feel Good. Essentially, the manager is doing this experiment to determine how effective Camp Feel Good attendance is on employee's attitudes.

Null: H0: u1 / u0

Meeting attendance: This variable is discrete since it can either be yes or no, with no in between. This is a quantitative measurement and is the independent variable.

Job Satisfaction Score: This variable is continuous and is nominal. It is a qualitative variable that needs to be converted to understand its meaning.

Descriptive Statistics

The descriptive statistics infer some important points about the research question posed.

The first figure to investigate is the average or mean job satisfaction score for the entire group which was 34.15 out of 50. The standard deviation from the score is 7.516 which is rather high signifying a potential weakness in this analysis. The median score is 34 which helps strengthen the mean's relevance to the analysis however.
