As a member of the National Spanish Honor Society, I know that I can fully speak to individuals who are often marginalized for their inability to speak the mainstream language. My main interest in medicine and the health field is being able to reach out to those that need medical assistance most, and I believe that I am on the right path.

St. Bonaventure University is an example of a school that commits itself to the community by connecting the classroom to the community. My commitment to community service is something I would like to continue and a university like St. Bonaventure University gives me that exact opportunity. My goal of becoming a physician requires training beyond academics but being able to relate to the community is what can make a physician complete.
