The necessity of customizing these for a specific need or requirement across a LAN and MAN is leading to the development of high performance protocols that can also scale across multiple network topologies, providing enterprises with greater agility in responding to those suppliers, customers and service teams needing to gain access to the latest content (Menachi, Avin, Giladi, 2012).
