What specific attributes and values will our new CEO require to lead our firm in this period of change?

Our group specifically selected these values and attributes because the Yellow Company seems to be a knowledge-focused organization much like Google which capitalizes upon its ability to exploit knowledge and changes in the environment to make a profit. The leader must be able to attract top talent to the organization. To generate interest in the organization amongst new employees that will be an asset to it, the Yellow Company needs to take a creative approach to HR. It also needs to take a creative approach to organizational management in general. Although a CEO should have a strong basis of knowledge in the industry of which he or she is a part, he or she should also be familiar with how to lead and motivate people in dynamic ways which encourage others to 'think outside the box.'

Charismatic leadership is also important when leading a company through change.
Charismatic leadership inspires others to emulate the leader and encourages a transformational approach to organizational design by allowing people to embrace change. Employees are more willing to get out of their 'comfort zones' if their leader can inspire them with the confidence to do so. Also, employees need to understand that such barrier-breaking is necessary to thrive within the industry's current environment. Of….....
