Statistics of the Labor Market (Miami: 2013 to 2015)

There are three metropolitan Divisions in Miami. These are identified separately as centers of employment in the larger Metropolitan area. The three areas added 61000 positions in the labor market. The situation was much better in 2014 because the three areas added 83000 jobs to the labor market. The market gained up to 38000 jobs from Miami-Miami Beach -- Kendall, while Beach-Deerfield Beach division added 2600 new jobs to the labor basket. Raton-Delray beach division in West Palm Beach-Boca came on with 19000 jobs. Miami-Miami Beach-Kendall; which is the largest of the labor divisions constitutes 45% of all employment in the area. The region added 21000 new jobs from last September. The Beach Deerfield division at Fort Lauderdale Pompano produced 22-800 positions. This was 32% of the total positions. Boca-Raton-Delray beach division in West Palm produced over 23% of all the work positions. The actual numbers were 11800 new positions in the whole of 2015 (BLS.gov, 2015).
