Lynn Tilton has been able to turn around many failing companies which show that she is an intelligent woman who knows her work very well. But I do not find her an effective leader because she doesn't appear as inspirational as a leader should be. It is true that every person has a right to assert their individuality but when you are leading huge organizations, you must demonstrate ethical and moral behavior not only through honesty but also through the way you dress, the way you communicate with others and the way you interact with employees. If employee turnover rate is so high, it shows that Tilton is doing something wrong as a leader and she doesn't fit my prototype of an effective leader. The only thing where I can give her some credit for being an effective leader is her ability to connect with lower staff like workers on the field.
