The male child is more likely to view violence against females as well as sexual aggression against females to be acceptable if the male child is exposed to high levels of violence and aggression in media. The male child exposed early to high levels of violence and aggression in media tend to have a lower level of respect for females, more likely to view females as objects to be used for gratification and to subject females to inferior aggressive treatment and to feel that this is the societal norm due to desensitization by media content with high levels of violence and aggression......
